What are limitations of genre for art/writing?

There are no limitations except I ask that it stays PG-13 at least. Please no NSFW art and writing for the zine as it will be printed and I would like everyone who wants to be a part as well as buy the finished product be able to. Any other kinds of genre is fine as long as you ask about it and let me know!

How long should writers make their writing?

I ask that the pieces stay under at least 500 and at most 5,000 words. If you are doing two writing pieces they do not have to add up to this number I just ask that they stay in between those as it will be printed.

How big should artist canvas be?

The booklet itself will be 5.5 in x 8.5 in for the size! So the artist canvas should be around that size for it to fit inside the booklet or adjustments will have to be made and that may mess up the pieces.

Can artists do comics?

Yes! If you would like to do a mini comic that is fine! I ask that you try to keep them to two full pages minimum and 4 maximum. If you do 4 pages they will count as 2 pieces of art work.

Can artists and writers collab with other people in the zine?

Of course! If you and a writer/artist would like to collab on either one does writing and one does art off that piece that is perfectly fine. I just ask that you let me know if you are going to do that so I may set up the zine so that the written piece(s) and the art piece(s) are by each other.

Extra

Will there be extras that come with the zine? Such as stickers, postcards, charms, etc.

As of right now, I do not know, if there are enough questions that people want to see extras/do extras then I will consider it and look into it.

How many people will be in this zine?

Right now there is no definite number that I would like to have, if it gets popular enough then I will consider numbers but for right now we will just see how many applications come in.

What charity will the money from Preorders be going to? ---------

What printing company would be used?

I am thinking of using http://www.doujinpress.com/ for the printing of the books! If there are any other suggestions for printing companies to be used then I will consider and compare.
