- fav character - minako! she's such a badass, but of course, she's the leader of the senshi <3
interests
- what i found interesting - this is such a comforting, nostalgic-filled series for me. the acknowledgment of the importance of your loved one's support and encouragement to defeat evil (or go through life) is such an important lesson. the artwork is absolutely gorgeous, and the scenes when sailor moon and tuxedo kamen are embracing together are so iconic!
- what I learned - I read it in korean to practice my reading skills, and I learned so much vocabulary related to space, fighting, and reincarnation lol
- fav quote - "you must take pride in yourself as the princess and as the guardian of love and justice, sailor moon"
rating
- 4/5 - the dark kingdom arc is one of my favorites in the manga, but I confess I preferred the first part. one of the things I really love in sailor moon is its slice of life aspect and the initial slow romance between usagi and mamoru. nevertheless, I enjoyed relearning about all the silver millennium lore and the fast-paced action panels. the following arc is my least favorite, so I don't know when I will be continuing the series. still my favorite manga of all time! <3
