- Rewatched the first two seasons of Supernatural, fell deeply and fannishly in love with it and started reading all the fic I could get my hands on
- Cultivated my appreciation for (if not my skill at) the subtle art of the room escape game
- Became briefly obsessed with the oeuvre of Sherrilyn Kenyon, whose Dark Hunter series of paranormal romance novels have little literary merit and somewhat dodgier gender politics than I tend to prefer and yet I found myself PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PUT THE BLOODY THINGS DOWN
- Wrote some fanfiction for the first time since September 2006
- Went to BBC Broadcasting House and contributed to the laughter track on the third series of That Mitchell and Webb Look
- Was consistently reduced to helpless giggles by Charlie Brooker's Guardian columns
