- debut novel from new author
- took me a while to get into.. and by a while I mean almost half the book
- but when I did get into it, i kept wanting to know what was happening
- the characters, while some deemed as superficial and unlikeable, there was a sort of appeal to them and i began to care about them as real people, and that's because:
- the author's character descriptions are unbelievably incredible -- so, so, so well done
- i could probably pick out each of the characters in a crowd!
- i was happy with the way things continued onwards and i was happy with the ending and particularly interested in Nora & Louise's story
- what i know for sure
- so good
- helped me realize a lot of things in my life (i.e. moving on from things that don't help me grow anymore)
- started a gratitude journal because of it
