Hello! Here is my tutorial on how to use FromJapan.
First of all, in order to bid on items, you must add a deposit to bid or purchase items. Deposits can be made on your account using a credit/debit card, Paypal, or using FromJapan points. I recommend using Paypal to deposit because it doesn't take much time for the deposit release to show up in your account compared to credit/debit card but I have used debit card before. I will explain about the deposit release later in the tutorial. Before you can bid on items or buy items using FromJapan, you must first have enough money to buy the item including the commission fee and the 5% system usage fee which is also known as Charge 1.
The thing that I was always confused about when I first used FJ was.. how much should I deposit? Well, FJ charges users a 200 yen commission fee + 5% system usage fee like I have stated above. The 200 yen commission fee will not exceed 800 yen if you buy from the same seller on the same day after you have already been charged 800 yen. Buying multiple items from a seller on the same day will only save you shipping cost and bank transfer fee. You will still be charged the 200 yen on each item that you buy from a seller. I recommend you deposit enough money to cover the entire Charge 1 but if you're bidding instead, I recommend depositting extra money just in case you get outbid and want to raise your maximum bid because they won't allow you to bid if you don't have enough funds.
Once all the depositting is done, you're good to go!
