my account of ariana grande's dangerous woman tour in melbourne on tuesday 5th of september, 2017 ☽・゚: *

  • i left my house around 3:30pm to meet my friend, her sister and her sister's friends at the merch stand at 4pm because that's when it opened but omg as i was getting driven to the venue, it started POURING down with rain
  • the merch line was really long even though it had just opened and my friend and i stood in line in the cold and rain rip... but i ended up buying these two hoodies !!! i really wanted a forever boy shirt to give to my boyf because i'm lame lmao but they didn't have much merch left (probs since australasia was the last leg of her tour) but i'm not complaining... i got to see the queen live ♡
  • waiting for the concert to start was kinda weird because it hadn't really hit me that i was actually going to see ari live... but when we sat down in the actual arena, i had to pee twice because the nerves finally started kicking in
  • the concert started at like 8:30pm on the dot and there was a 10 minute countdown that got everyone HYPED AF
  • during 'greedy', these dollar bills came out from above the mosh pit... and my friend and i went down afterwards to scavenge for some and we managed to find some of the last ones left ahhh
  • i could go into detail over every single song she performed because i remember them so vividly but the post would be so long... i do have one thing to say about her entire performance though; she sounds even better live than on her album. i mean, i was expecting that but being there to witness it in person was just unreal :'( going into the concert and coming out of it, i was just in shock throughout the entire thing rip
  • she cried so much during her performance of 'somewhere over the rainbow' which was dedicated to the victims of the manchester attack. it literally broke all of us... like she kept looking towards her band and they kept like pushing her on and it was just... AHHHH we were all a mess
  • my favourite performance was obviously 'thinking bout you' as it's been my favourite song ever since its release but holy shit, seeing it live gives off a completely different feel. like i'd never cried so much during a concert before...
