- octanes freckles and blemishes are very noticeable; tae's ,however, are much fainter. octavio didn't even notice them until way late in their relationship. he puts his thumbs on them when he holds crypto's face in his hands.
- tae thinks that octavio's eyes are incredibly pretty. tav's eyes obviously don't but tae thinks that they sparkle when he smiles.
- they are both deeply, helplessly, in love with each other. that's obvious but it should be mentioned that these two boys aren't ones for commitment so it really does mean a lot.
- crypto often wonders what mila would think of octavio. he likes to think that they'll get along when they finally meet but he doesn't let himself get his hopes up at the same time.
- when they first moved in together they had separate closets but now they've just mushed them together. the only defining factors between their wardrobes are crypto's jacket collection and the pile of crop tops that lay on the floor.
- tavi doesn't wear eyeliner often per se but when he does play around with it. crypto once let tav put some eyeliner on him but it turned into octavio trying to force an emo phase on tae.
- because of how paranoid crypto is he used to wake up earlier than octavio every morning just to make sure nothing's happened. octavio hated that, he wants to be first. it turned into a competition eventually but they just ended up exhausting each other. now they wake up at the same time.
- octavio is touchy and loud, as we all know, but in the privacy of his and crypto's apartment they are both fairly quiet and touchy people. octavio shares majority of the love but tae appreciates contact. tae is a bit wary of kissing as he used to think of it as too intimate but he really enjoys holding oc. crypto is a bit like a cat and will massage tavi's back or neck if he's sat near him (which octavio really appreciates because he's usually sore). octavio likes kissing but, much like tae, finds it really intimate. he gets skittish sometimes but in really tender moments he doesn't mind it at all. octavio much prefers being held and also giving kisses on the cheek/other parts of the face.
- going out in public can be really exhausting for tae so oftentimes octavio runs the errands for the both of them. he doesn't mind it at all and it makes him more happy to know that his boyfriend is safe and comfortable at home.
- "i love you" is really hard for the both of them to say. octavio fears that he'll say it and it won't mean anything or the person won't care. tae fears that if he says those words he'll tempt fate and lose that person too. crypto hasn't told anyone this but he hasn't told anyone that he loves them since he last saw mila, even then it was rare.
- tae likes to kiss tavi's hand a lot, especially when he's holding it. in private only of course but a part of him is jealous that tav's hands aren't covered in metal. he worries sometimes that he doesn't look "human" enough for octavio. octavio, of course, thinks this is stupid. the first time tae talked about that with him octavio literally just took his leg off. crypto is just generally insecure but the metal on him makes him feel less human entirely.
- "beneath metal and skin you're still you, that's who i love." octavio had said later on, earnesty in his eyes that tae can see sparkling for him.
