  THINGS I HAVE DONE IN THE PAST TO AID SLEEPING
  
    - keep my laptop on my desk rather than use it on the laptop table which I can drag near my bed 
- use my bed just for sleeping, don't get into bed until I intend to sleep 
- relaxation techniques - incense/candles/meditation/gentle stretches before going to bed 
- earlier showers 
- fully shut the blinds 
- change the position of the bed/sleep on the other side 
- get new sheets 
- don't drink too much water or tea 
- have the fan on (with timer) 
THINGS I COULD START DOING
  
    - handwrite a to-do list right before turning off all lights - this one I will try tomorrow 
- leaving all electronics out of arm's reach 
- NO GAMES. N O  G A M E S. 
- tidy room after turning off/hibernating/locking/putting to sleep all electronics 
- wake up earlier 
- be more active during the day. eg. exercise 
- be more active during the day - differentiate between the activities for day, and activities for night.
