    • almost being asked by a woman in the AIC for directions because I looked like a staff person (I was wearing a black button-up, black shorts, three 'I ○ Lichtenstein' buttons and holding my sktechbook)

    • extreme homesickness, being asked by that woman to buy her coffee

    • drenching #3: getting wet (not really drenched) on the Maid of the Mist
    • drawing the falls from that wall
    • drawing the mist, mist studies, "mist is hard", "is it just me or did that mist grow just now?"
    • finding a $5 note on the ground in front of the Hersheys shop, "it's a sign!", looking around Hersheys for something that we could buy with $5 (we were adamant about not spending any more than that)
  • New York
    • Manor Park, lying on the rocks near the pavilion at night
    • very hot day, lying on the grass in Central Park, Real Estate
    • drenching #4: lower Manhattan, at around 7:30pm, walking from around Freedom Tower to Lupe's kitchen, the skies opened and it thunderstormed. wind and lightening and torrents of rain. completely wet.
