- So basically this is not a list but more like a devotion to God and what I have recently discovered.
- I've been praying the last weeks (months, perhaps) for God to just work through me and show me what I need to do in my like, aka I was asking Him to just plainly state what I need to do
- Well, it just so happened that all (well most) of the pieces came together and He showed me!! WOOO! I love God!
- I had been kind of un-motivated/passionate/sure about what God had in store for me but I think He has showed me!
- I just realized what I need to do with my life and how God really was there all along and He was telling me, I just wasn't picking up on it. But a ton of bricks fell on me today, and NOW I KNOW!
- So this is my thought process/ what God has shown me and I'm writing it down so I can remind myself why God is GREAT and to keep focused and driven
- So lately I've been thinking about how I am really passionate about becoming a Spanish teacher but I have been weary about becoming a teacher right out of college (tiny pebble fell)
- Then I realized that I want to be that cool Spanish teacher that has traveled the world and done amazing things before actually becoming a teacher (morbidly obese pebble)
- Next though process- I need to teach English at a Spanish speaking country! (small stone)
- Then I thought I need to do this through God and teach at a Christian school and share the love of God to children (average size stone)
- Awesomesauce!! I just realized that this is my purpose! But wait- am I sure, how do I know this??
- I discovered that God has been preparing me my whole life to do this! God has a very thought out and oh so wonderful plan made just for me and He has steered me through life so far so I can prepare for this daunting mission (a very good sized stone)
- And then, wow! Think of all these things/people God has brought into my life that has prepared me and helped to get to where I need to go! He obviously wanted me to learn Spanish, so because He is the Almighty- He had me attend a Spanish elementary school. And the list just continues of everything that I have done in my life and the people that have influenced me! (a brick fell)
- And then the brick wall falls and I realized all of this and it makes me so happy and gratefully and I just want to praise the Lord for all that He has given me. Praise be to God!
- How God births a dream in our heart:
- 1: We see the dream
- 2: We make a decision
- 3: We wait
- 4: We have difficulties
- 5: God makes good on his promise
