• I suffer from severe astraphobia, which is the technical term for fear of thunderstorms (and I only know because I googled it to sound cool). I can't leave the house without checking the weather forecasts, and I can't drive in thunderstorms to the point where I would stay at work until midnight to wait out any potential storms before I drove home. My friends at home have closets waiting for me to hide in. Part of me thinks I should take the fact that I can't function if clouds are a certain shade of grey a little more seriously, but I'm totally cool with just hiding under my blankets. (California's lack of big thunderstorms has helped)
