• Imagination to visualize a healthier space.

Hands for healing touch.

Fingers for tapping.

Feet for walking and absorbing the healing energy of the earth.

Eyes to release the tears of our sorrow.

Arms for a much needed embrace.

Our heart to feel the myriad of beautiful emotions.

One of the most effective tools I have found is the simple practice of being present in each moment. Quite a challenging prescription in that it requires constant effort to lasso the mind and return it back to the here and now. The simple reward in the rapturous moments when I notice all my senses are fully engaged in whatever I happen to be doing, my mind blissfully quiet in the background.

In my other life, I was multi-tasking maniac, achieving super human status with the amount of things I checked off my daily To-Do List. The constant motion created a false sense of purpose and left me with an empty sense of not really inhabiting my life.

I still get a lot done today, but I feel a deeper connection to what I spend my time doing.

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.”

Thornton Wilder

  • May your life be filled with radiant, transformative breathing that connects you with the healing power of your cells. All the way through your tippy toes.
  • When you demonstrate personal responsibility, you are living up to what is expected of you by your friends and family, society, yourself, and the Lord. You are acting in a righteous manner. Being accountable means being honorable. It means people can depend on you and rely on you. It means that others can trust you. It means you have integrity. It means that you will do whatever is necessary to right a wrong, and that includes repentance and restitution. ACCOUNTABLE people are people who can be COUNTED ON. When we REPENT of our wrongdoings, make amends and RESTITUTION to the people we have hurt by undoing the damage we have done, and take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for our words and behavior and their results, we teach others that we are honorable, trustworthy, mature adults. This is what being accountable is all about.
  • Yoga is the union of breath and body, inner and outer, sacred and secular.

It is about realizing our innate, already-perfected nature, just as we are.

  • Serenity ~ Ohm Shanti Ohm - 'Om Shanti' means peace for the all human kind, peace for all living and non living beings, peace for the universe, peace for each and every things in this whole cosmic manifestation.
  • Namaste is a humbling gesture. It has a deep spiritual significance that seeks to reduce our own ego in the presence of another person. I've learned that one of the most beautiful ways we can honour someone is to look them in the eye and really see them.. There is no separation.
  • Silence and stillness is something to embrace and treasure. Relax into it and let go of the need to fill it with empty words or actions. Allow it to be your friend.
  • “Learning to let go should be learned before learning to get. Life should be touched, not strangled. You’ve got to relax, let it happen at times, and at others move forward with it.” Ray Bradbury.
  • “In fact every person has the energy to heal. It is something natural. It is not that a few people are healers and others are not, no. Every person born is a healer but has forgotten the capacity, or has never used it….” -Osho
  • n my opinion there are three ways to do things in life - passively, forcefully or skillfully.

To be skillful is to be in the present moment, using your experience as a guide with the future you desire in mind.

We all desire change to some degree and we are all constantly changing. Even after the most satisfying meal at some point we will hunger again.

So the underlying question becomes what do you desire and how do you acquire the right experiences to get what you desire.

Often we finally get what we've desired for so long only to realize that it wasn't my desire in the first place. Can I recognize this and change directions?

What is it that you truly desire and what's preventing you from moving in that direction?

Something must change. This is yoga. Yoga is the space between two points in time. This is what interest me. Skillful action refers to the method or quality in which we time travel.
