Since AO3 finally added a block/mute feature (it could use work, but eh), I thought I should talk about it here.

Considering how readers rarely comment on fanfics (come now, you know it's true), I don't see the point of using the block feature there unless the person in question is outgoingly harassing someone.

However, note that I have used it and will do so if you're being a jerk or try/have tried to start shit with me. Chances are this block won't matter to you since you don't get a giant "YOU'VE BEEN BLOCKED" message when visiting someone's page, and if you already dislike me, then I doubt you're going to even click on something I've written (unless you're hate reading).
