History of Us

• We met at bar while I was out celebrating my friend's 21st birthday and he was there for his best friend's bachelor party. He invited me to his friend's wedding right there and then, and even though I thought he was joking, he called me the next day to confirm. We went to the wedding together where I saw Zach in his element around his friends - he's a really fun guy with a great sense of humour.
• We've talked about marriage seriously and we know it's going to happen in our future, and soon. Zach has hinted that he's close to proposing, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Our Parenting Ambitions and Style

• Crunchy / attachment parenting style
• Extended breastfeeding (at least 1 year, preferably 2)
• Babywearing rather than use of strollers
• No solids till at least 6 months, and then only organic home-made food
• Gentle discipline (time-outs), no physical punishment or yelling
• Anti-circumcision, pro-vaccinations

Views on Adoption

• Happy to adopt domestically
• Would love to be foster parents and then adopt

Pets

• We don't currently have pets as our conflicting work schedules make it difficult to ensure we're around for them but are open to the idea after we have kids
• Preferably only one pet, any type is fine
