After None Given was rudely arrested for trying to cross the border into Skyrim and caught up in a skirmish between the Imperials and some Nord rebels, he didn't much feel like cooperating with the people who had decided he needed to die and didn't give his name when asked for it. Later, he decided he liked the moniker and kept it; it wasn't as though any non-Argonians would be able to pronounce his real name anyway.

None Given doesn't like Skyrim. It's too cold, and the people are cold, and there's too many dragons around and no one seems to care. However, some of the people are good, and there's all kinds of lost history to be discovered and ancient halls to be explored.
