On the other hand, Damian is determined to take proper care of his best friend and refuses to leave his side. Not because he is in love with him or anything, but because that was what best friends did. So, naturally, he allows Jon to rest in his room, keeps him company during this nightmare, and assists in nursing him back to health while waiting for everything to go back to normal. And if waiting it out gave the two of them an excuse to hold each other so close, well. Who were they to complain?

It helps that Prubbs and dnawhite76 are really talented and reliable writers. I can totally recommend their other stories as well (especially in case you're into BTS as well).
