- the invisiblle life of addie larue by v. e. schwahb
- summary
- adeline larue was born in villon in the year 1691, a daughter of Jean and Marthe Larue who lived in a stone house beyond an old yew tree. in a desperate bid for freedom, she made a bargain to live forever but was cursed to be forgotten by everyone she encountered—until 300 years later.
- this book is set in different cities and explores events across multiple timelines. brilliantly illustrates how desperation to fulfill one's deepest desire can blind humans to reason, making them forget that everything comes with a price to pay.
