- cuddling with Z, watching Frisky Dingo
- going to the local chocolatier with my family
- king crab legs & pasta with shrimp for dinner with my family
- packing all of Z's stuff, burgers, packing more
- sitting on the back of the truck outside in the dark alone, looking at everything I am about to leave
- leaving south Florida at 1pm, arriving in Atlanta at 12:45am
- seeing Jen & Lee & their cats in Atlanta
- stopping in Marietta, GA
- losing a trailer tire in Paducah, Kentucky, sitting in the truck laughing about it while waiting for roadside assistance
- shopping in Tennessee, exploring the Jack Daniels Distillery
- driving through South Dakota and everything about it
- THE CORN PALACE! getting caramel corn and sharing it in the truck
- Wall Drug, best tourist trap ever
- sneaking off the hiking trails at Mt. Rushmore, sliding down giant rocks, a random but very nice man offering to take our picture
- surviving the insane drive to and from Mt. Rushmore (oh my god don't ever do this in a truck with a trailer)
- exploring Idaho, hiking around old lava rocks at a rest stop
- entering Oregon, being shocked at the fire damage
- getting into our new apartment, Carlo helping us
- Ian saying he wants to teach me how to weld
- getting Thai food less than 300 feet from my apartment, excitedly discussing technology and culture with Z and Carlo
