- helping Ashley set up Christmas lights (we made a candy cane palm tree)
- shaping a narwhal ornament out of clay while Tyler laid in my bed
- taking pictures of him to show him what he looks like: "you never know until someone else shows you."
- texting my mom "HIDE THE NARWHAL!" and it making perfect sense
- ordering loose tea online for Tyler
- receiving packages from Kohl's, trying on my new clothes
- trying on old clothes, organizing my closet, marking things I must make alterations to and putting unwanted items in a box for donation, singing Eisley all the while
- organizing my printed rough draft into a hard binder for editing ease
- takin' care of business: going to the credit union, then the eye doctor, then going into work and hustlin'
- receiving starlight mints in parts packages
- driving out to Starbucks in the evening, downing a caramel macchiato while wandering through Target with Jennifer and Tyler
- going back to Jen and Lee's place, chatting about life, Listography books, and watching Whose Line Is It Anyway
- working more on the clay narwhal ornament
- receiving my package from Ulta, trying on all the tinted lip balms and sorting through the samples
- drinking tea with honey
- the fact that Tyler downloaded avocado and is willing to try it with me
- buying a ton of coffee for myself while Xmas shopping for others
- walking through the pouring rain with my mother to her car, getting in and laughing uncontrollably at ourselves for a couple minutes
- colouring the bookmark I made for James, wrapping a ton of presents
- editing my MS while watching a movie with Tyler
- going into Total Nutrition with Tyler, getting a BOGO deal on protein drink tumblers
- going out for lunch, having a cool and delightful salad, having only 1 penny left on our gift card
- ridiculously open yet exhausted communication with Tyler at night, taking chances - it's all worth it
- driving to work listening to iamthemorning, feeling so much at once and heavy amounts of gratitude
- speaking to customers about how amazing cold weather is, and how she's confident I'd love it
- reading parts of my manuscript, genuinely getting chills at the ridiculous amounts of tension in it, and being very proud of this
- exchanging emails with Ales, who is sending me books and is very kind
- being ridiculous with Tyler, making "squid noises" and play-fighting in bed
- revelations + pure therapy
- grey rain over the industrial park, pounding on the warehouse roof
- waking up next to Tyler (always.)
- running into Patrick, making him intensely uncomfortable (subtle revenge is best)
- buying stocking stuffers for Tyler, eating Five Guys burgers for lunch
- hanging out at DD alone, getting a free doughnut
- seeing The Hobbit with Tyler, Daniel, and Sarah
- meeting Christina and Candice at Starbucks with Daniel, talking about writing and moving to Vermont
- being with Tyler, thinking that he could not be more perfect for me than he already is
- being incredibly humbled, realizing the risk he took for me.
- getting constructive criticism from Daniel, loving his advice
- eating peppermint bark and cookies from awesome customers
- doing an oil change and tire rotation on my car
- singing "That's Amore" while closing up the shop, my voice echoing off the walls, chains rattling as the doors came down
- Morgan texting me to let me know she'd received my gifts and loved them, being happy
- getting my order from Teavana, packaging all of the tea into little tins for Tyler
- gift exchanging with Tyler days before Xmas, taking it slow, him being happy and guessing his gifts
- my nephew seeing the ornaments I made for him (Boris and Peso from The Octonauts) and watching the delight on his face, "These are my favorite birthday presents - oh, I mean Christmas presents - EVER!"
- driving on the highway with Tyler
- napping on Xmas morning with Tyler after he arrived at 6:30 in the morning
- getting a ton of Xmas presents, giving a ton to Tyler, realizing we have more tea and coffee than we know what to do with
- my nephew running up to Tyler and exclaiming, "I LOVE YOU TYLER!"
- making Tyler chicken soup
- being in Target with Tyler, and him getting a phone call for an interview at the local PD, and getting an interview for myself in the same day
- going to the health food store by myself, picking up a cold season sampler tea for Tyler and raw apple cider vinegar + a coconut almond "meal bar"
- talking to John about the deception in western medicine, broccoli, juju, and taking spirits to dinner on Halloween
- racing him in his wheelchair in the grocery store, sending him flying towards the bananas - him laughing and saying, "I beat you anyway."
- going to visit Tyler, sharing chicken cordon bleu that his father made for dinner
- hanging out with Tyler on New Year's Eve, drinking whisky and kissing, sleeping together just after 12
