- programming presentations, one kid going "I set out to make the worst program I could.", his program playing "careless whisper", my professor and I dying of laughter while the younger students had no idea what was going on
- finishing my last calc quiz and turning in my last assignment (lab report) for the fall semester, pouring myself celebratory Scotch
- N approaching me as I packed up after my first final was completed - a smile and "We'll see."
- helping N clean up after finals, hanging out in his office for 40 minutes afterward, talking about politics and math and meditation and Buddhism and encryption and the future we could have
- "I want to email more between quarters."
- reminiscing with Will about our time in September
- all-day flight, being exhausted
- catching up with family
- spending the day playing math games with my nephew
- "Let's go to Valais Switzerland - no wait, Zermatt"
- encouraging Will to clean up his life a bit more, being happy and supportive and sweet together
- getting accepted into a university!

- basically the worst Christmas Eve I've ever had, watching ambulance lights reflecting off the kitchen cabinets, feeling very surreal and numb
- making cookies for the neighbors to thank them for their help
- grandmother coming home from the hospital on Xmas eve
- Christmas morning, waking up, making coffee and eating French toast casserole and opening presents
- both of my parents taking me aside to thank me
- watching my nephew excitedly tear open all of his presents
- flying to SF, letting myself into the apartment, tidying up so that Will would come home to a clean apartment
- the cathedral bells playing Christmas music as I cleaned
- once again falling into Will's arms, being infinitely grateful for all of him
- giving Will his gifts
- getting loopy as hell on NyQuil, Will having to take care of me
- building two kitchen chairs while Will was at work, surprising him with dinner at the table for the first time
- going to Will's haircut with him, drinking beer together, then picking up fancy liqueurs and cider after
- making Manhattans on NYE, drinking together at the table
- venturing outside to climb up the hills to watch the fireworks over the Bay Bridge from near Coit Tower, kissing at midnight
