- Xmas at my parents'
- "THERE ARE FIVE BENZES IN THE DRIVEWAY, WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK WE'RE NAZIS"
- opening presents with David. highlights:
- immersion blender
- French press
- iced tea maker
- red sheet set
- flying the remote helicopter outside with my father, chasing after it
- watching my 3-year old nephew go off-roading in his little electric GL Benz
- sketching for a couple hours with soft music while Ziggy napped on my desk
- sleeping in, late late breakfast of scrambled eggs + avocado halves
- eating dinner together, leftover Xmas Eve ham + scalloped potatoes + green beans
- "do you want a bookmark? Can I make you one!?" and then rushing off to make a bookmark on cardstock for David. I returned with a picture of a brown bear sitting on a rock. "Papa Bear wants to be inside of yer book, boy!"
- going back to work, being happy
- sitting in my car with Chris while he installed my radio, testing it to country music and jokingly fistpumping
- driving cars into the shop, being stumped at the lack of key-ignition for the R-class "CHRIS, HOW DO I START THIS FUCKING THING?" "Put your foot on the brake and push the button!" "OH"
- getting stuff done - returning stuff I don't need, getting gas, buying produce, dishes
- cooking/making...
- spicy black bean burgers
- iced tea
- ciabatta buns
- excitedly tearing open a real, physical letter from James
- popping the CD that he burned for me in my car's new radio/CD player and going to Target
- cuddling with the cat in my office
- spinach + fresh mozzarella salad with sun-dried tomato vinaigrette for dinner
- going to Vision club with Jennifer, Lee, Tyler, and Mark, on Latino night of all things, being VIP with a bottle of vodka
- dancing behind the VIP curtain, laughing
- going to Buckett's for pizza + wings (late dinner) with David + John
- "The floor is tasting you. Sucking your heels in and all." "And your chair is made of tongues."
- writing a limerick about John and reading it aloud to both of them
- going to the mall and poking fun at white wannabe-gangster kids blasting rap throughout the parking lot - "That's so cute! He's the size of a sapling!"
- being with David in the warehouse, watching Harry Potter movies on the projector + drinking
