- driving with Z, a series of odd events: seeing a beaten up children's motor car up on cinder blocks, someone throwing a toaster out of a bus, and an old lady telling us "you two look like you know what you're doing, where can I find High Times magazine?" within 20 minutes (WTF? neither of us smoke and I didn't even know what that was until it was explained...)

- curling up on the bench in a bookstore cafe together, him reading about design while I worked on my novel
- reading ee cummings in the bookstore, feeling inspired and infinite

- swinging on the playground, uncontrollable laughter
- going to a 4th of July party and basically cuddling with Z the whole time, "You two are the gayest people here, and we have actual homosexuals at this party."
- Shawn drunkenly climbing on top of Z and me to shove banana bread into our mouths, then coming back with giant watermelon chunks
- listening to soothing electronic music with Z for four hours, communication, perspectives changing, crying tears of joy.
- spending two hours at Guitar Center joking around with the employees, Z making them laugh their asses off, splitting open the power cord to find out what fried it

- having a foam sword fight on skateboards in walmart at 1 am

- all morning at the designer outlet shops
- Krispy Kreme factory on the way back home
- P90X plyometrics "BRING THE PAAAAIN"
- filling up on Skyline Chili
- costume karaoke with Z and Brad, the two of them dancing together, Brad singing "Man I Feel Like A Woman", Z rapping, and Brad winning because spandex.
- waking up next to Z, sunlight streaming into the room
- cow tongue tacos
- "TURN DOWN FOR NAPS!"
- hip hop show with Z where he knew everyone, finding out that boy can daaaance!
- sugar rush after Cold Stone Ice Cream, "ostrich dancing" in Walmart aisles and in the car
- playing with a skinny stray cat with Z, running to the convenience store to buy it food

- my birthdaaaay on Thursday, free 30oz iced black coffee from Starbucks, Z bringing me five fresh doughnuts to share
- dinner with my parents and Z, filet mignon wrapped in bacon and twice baked potatoes, Norman Love for dessert
- watching Adventure Time with Z
- more free iced coffee from Starbucks because the guy apparently likes us (awesome!)
- Danish bakery with Z, getting the most amazing doughnuts
- "8-bit hall of fame" Nintendo store yesss
- being tourists in our own town
- bison burgers and bison meatloaf for lunch-dinner
- viciously kissing on the roof of the parking garage at night
- crying in my car while it rained outside, kissing to make it better, then going to get nachos
- brunch at Azucar with Z, delicious sandwiches and coffee and perfect maduros
- Jen & Lee's going away party, playing cards against humanity. "WHAT DOES DICK CHENEY LIKE?" and Z having the actual response card of "DICK CHENEY"
- surprise toasted subs + awesome milkshake date
- the airport at midnight, making out in the car while blasting Portishead's live album
- FINALLY finishing the art I promised Lee
- climbing up on the spiderweb at the playground with Jen
- late-night business talks with Z
