• going on the trawler with Tyler and my family, eating bacon and egg sandwiches from the grill
• jumping off the fly bridge at North Captiva, a manatee appearing 2 feet from us - "Wanna make out!?"
• riding on the back of Brad's motorcycle, wind rushing around my face, feeling reckless delight
• driving around with Brad in my car, getting lost, going to pick up Tyler
• finding a $27 16-piece dinnerware set, claiming it after determining it wasn't cracked, and later finding it in Kohl's for $120
• making kung pao chicken for lunch, Tyler holding the bowl over his face and scooping it into his mouth ravenously
• going to the dollar store with Tyler, buying essentials and candy
• waking up early, listening to The Mars Volta while editing my novel
• making massive progress on the organization of my novel and the storyline development
• going to the flea market with Tyler, getting a $5 crockpot, fancy glasses, and 4 frosted Jaegermeister shot glasses
• going to Kohl's, getting fantastic acacia cutting boards and a coffee maker for super-cheap
