- cuddling with Lela (cat)
- curling up with Tyler, talking until 3:30 in the morning
- brunch of strawberry or Nutella crepes with fresh whipped cream for Tyler + Ashley
- bringing a ton of food to Jen and Lee's, watching The Walking Dead
- working all day, trolling Thom with the new phone's intercom system: "All technicians please report to the front office immediately!"
- evening gelato date with Tyler
- kayaking together, a still and quiet night
- "I want to take a picture of your face right now."
- family dinner of pizza at The Joint + Tyler, excitedly discussing my father's new boat, gelato, walking around the docks
- shopping at Kohl's, joking around with the boy while buying underwear - "Just awkwardly play with your phone, that's what they're for." "...My battery's dead."
- Nick Cave "O Children", overwhelming emotions, crying in the car from joy and gratefulness and love
- short skirt, sweet whispers
- perfect timing
- "You are so cute when you sleep. You make little noises, too."
- driving out to Tyler's work to bring him a dinner of Swedish meatballs + egg noodles, a banana, and an Izze blackberry
- overflowing joy, hiding in his bed together back at his place
- staying up talking til 3 in the morning (no regrets!)
- making a fruit salad for lunch
- singing Katy Perry's "Peacock" in the office back and forth with Chris. "I want her to sing that to me." "Me too. I'd give her an actual peacock."
- Tyler cheering me up after work by going to the arcade: ski ball, ice hockey, "buying" army men to burn with our tickets
- "You don't mind my last name, do you?" and more talk of marriage (...whoa)
- amazing hand + back rubs, peace, the kind of peace I've been craving since I was 15 and did not know what peace was, but still could imagine that it would be gentle + warm
- waking up, doing housework and yard work to try to help Ashley
- hanging out with Tyler's dad for his birthday - "Happy 36th birthday!" "She's a keeper."
- Tyler's father on the subject of Twilight: "It's... gay."
- rubbing tea tree oil into our skin, awkward smiles
- "That's how it always is but I've never choked on it." "That's what she said!"
