- volunteering to help pack food at a food bank with K

- curling up sideways in a chair in the engineering hall reading, maybe hearing things ("circuit!") but feeling very happy
- waking up and feeling very alive
- being far too amused that I have a pine tree alive in my house who is named Leaf Erikson
- sunlight streaming through the apartment
- writing in my journal
- finishing my giant Tech Writing project
- finishing all of my coursework except for finals (omg finally)
- weird kissing dreams and dystopian nightmares, searching for metaphor in this and not having to look very hard
- finishing my finals, celebratory whiskey
- cleaning the entire apartment, making banana bread, responding to emails
- driving around the North Oregon coast
- finishing The Cormorant in bed
- going on a hike that actually made me a little tired, seeing 4 waterfalls in one day (Latourell, Bridal Veil, Multnomah, Horsetail)
- bouldering in front of Bridal Veil falls, close enough to feel the cold spray on my face
- waking up at 5:30 for a quiet day at home writing by the fireplace
- then crashing on the couch for three hours later that night
- waking up to find that I'm off the wait list for pre-calc, I have a 3.8 cumulative GPA, had a 4.0 for winter quarter, and I'm on the vice presidents' list
- having a super productive day: paying bills, reading GEB, cutting my hair, replying to emails, learning more Trig from Khan Academy
- Easter hike at Forest Park, using the Witch's House as shelter from a sudden downpour
- "We have to form a rap duo. We'll be.... 2 CRANEZ."
- texting Daniel and Sarah, catching up
- more discrete math lectures, seeing my fav prof dressed up as the Stay Puft marshmallow man for Halloween and laughing for 5 minutes straight
- "pillaging" all of the clearance Easter candy
- shopping with Z, clothing stores & Ulta (!)
- watching The Wall while curled up in bed, eating oatmeal with peanut butter, bananas, and blackberries
- organizing my entire closet
- driving out to 2 small neighboring towns to the east, enjoying black iced coffee while watching the sun set pink over snowy Mt. Hood
