- taking V to the airport, him telling me, "I won't judge you for your music. This is a judge-free zone." so I played Vicious Art thinking he's lying and he goes, "This... is... AWESOME!" and proceeds to show me Carcass, followed by a discussion of our love for classical music
- getting a great deal on a wetsuit
- going to the cigar bar with John, trading cigars and bourbons because we liked each others' better, finishing the cigars on his back patio talking while crickets chirped

- picking up V at the airport
- going to Jen's graduation party, sausage bread and meatball subs
- baking banana bread
- V's honesty, still being happy even though he isn't ready for anything
- having Bob over for cuddles and whisky and really candid conversation
- first scuba class
- watering the garden in the morning, feeling incredibly happy and thankful for everything in my life
- texting Daniel about writing and college and my dreams of having a house
- making kung pao chicken & chocolate chip cookies for Brad
- my first breath underwater
- sitting at the bottom of the pool... breathing, diving down 12 feet, fin pivot, clearing my mask from the partial flood on the first try
- shivering after 3 hours in the pool, going to Bob's to find a towel and washcloth laid out and hot tomato and basil soup
- eating at Nino's with Bob, garlic rolls, soup/salad, and the best pasta dishes in town
- chopping up vegetables for pasta salad with a new knife
- "It's Monday. We need wine."
- spending my class break with Andrey, witty banter, having a conversation about penguin seductresses and other oddities
- second night in the pool doing scuba, gaining more confidence
- buying sunglasses & new shirts
- going shopping with Sarah, getting pizza and ice cream
- making huge progress with organizing my closet
- getting a 96 on my first college essay
- going down to the Florida Keys for my 4 dives to become scuba-certified!
