week 012

• cleaning out my office a bit more, putting all of the glasses in the new + improved kitchen
• working on my novel most of Sunday
• editing my photos of Manhattan
• making mini ciabatta from scratch
• pasting out-of-place notes into my notebook, getting more organized
• CRAZY day of work, going to pet + art stores afterwards
• getting home, drinking beer, starting a painting of a scene with a lighthouse, mini pizza on ciabatta roll for dinner
• excited, happy emails with James
• Jennifer + Lee inviting me to go watch the meteor shower. "You know what's missing in this car? Tyler." going to pick up Tyler, drinking 1/3 a beer and getting buzzed. Lying on a blanket next to Jennifer on some road in the middle of nowhere, my head near Tyler + Lee in the car, surrounded by cow fields, watching stars fall
• listening to Coheed and Cambria in the car on the way home with them
• a customer asking how my novel is going (the fact that he remembers every time makes me happy)
• going home, seeing David
• playing with Ziggy in my office for the first time, extending the trays out of my desk to give her more space to explore, giving her more toys to play with
• Her helping me write my novel. Her contribution: "BBNNNNNNNNNNNNZ 9.889`" "That's very profound, cat."
• Ziggy falling asleep in my lap at my desk while I was writing
• buying organic chocolate almond espresso soap + Xmas presents for David
• making pasta with mushrooms, spinach, and pepperoni for David, being awesome and domestic
• parfait of strawberries and vanilla gelato
• going out with David to Lakes Park, then having my first (and last) McRib, then going to get ice cream
• home, almost falling asleep on the floor next to David
• working on my novel like crazy
