week 011

• waking up, playing with Ziggy, cold shower + tea
• doing the math to figure out how much I should get done in a year if I rock at time management & get help in editing
• Sam's Club, going home, writing
• making beef + vindaloo, sweet potato, onion + plain yogurt
• learning how to pick a lock from David. "Be patient."
• being offered a ride in the ambulance by the neighbors, having to turn it down due to work
• lunch of tuna salad, cheese, and lettuce on fresh ciabatta
• being given a fruit salad from a customer about to leave town
• rearranging the studio, struggling with sleep-deprivation, ultimately gaining new cabinets + more counter space
• work, getting a new lift put in the shop
• errands for David, cleaning the warehouse + offices
• sharing an avocado with David in the kitchen
• writing in my notebook
• watching Tropic Thunder with David, drinking Prosecco sparkling wine
• cleaning + organizing tools at work, getting my hands dirty
• tomato + basil veggie burgers with colby cheese + avocado + tomato on fresh ciabatta
• David hanging a small plush mouse from the ceiling, Ziggy going crazy with it
• waking up to find Ziggy cuddled next to me, then her licking my face
• Pete's stories, him giving me grapes, throwing them back in his truck as the door's closing, him pausing, coming back out to throw them back and ask, "How the hell did you do that!?"
• making fresh pizza for Matt, then painting in the warehouse, him teaching me new techniques, talking about my book
• going to the Cape for my father's birthday, picking up ice cream for my sister at Publix + donating to the food bank
• home, being thankful that I can pay bills
