week 006

• coming home at around 2am, then David coming home soon after, being happy
• going home after work on Monday, going to the library, singing in the car
• making beef w/ a vindaloo sauce + potatoes and spinach - David getting home once I'd finished and making us sangria, then turning on Frank Sinatra while we dined
• cleaning up the kitchen with David, adding to the Good Will box
• Chris teaching me how to do an oil change
• going home, remembering David had the night off and making hot and sour soup together
• RIP Steve Jobs...
• let's do it, let's do it right, right now, right now
• writing my novel while listening to Madrugada, +1784 words
• going to the RV place next door, them telling me I could drive the race car, but alas, I cannot drive manual :(
• overhearing "top secret" plans on building a Gullwing 300SL from a kit in the future
• kayaking around the canals against the current, golden sunset, sea salt on my cheeks
• going to the strip club w/ D - the bartender asked if I wanted to give one of the dollars I tipped him to a girl instead of him, complimentary water bottle
• shopping with D - Hobby Lobby, Kohl's
• going to Alexandra + James' bachelor(ette) party- sushi, club, gay bar, strip club - everyone dancing on James at the strip club, driving around in what was somehow the 3rd limo I've been in this year
• spending the day with D, coffee, talking briefly about New York
• going to dinner with my parents, my father's half-drunk ramblings - "There are lots of nuts in the world. There are some people that'll get fired and go back and shoot their boss. That's why I won't fire you or Chris." HAHAHA
• hunting in my parents' garage, scoring 2 bottles of wine + a 1.75L bottle of Crown
• getting a cold, David taking care of me
