I think it's better to do this monthly than weekly...
- singing kalevala music at midnight
- falling in love all over again, feeling optimism and fresh energy and love
- dancing for half an hour to Ellie Goulding + Lykke Li
- baking raspberry coconut banana bread for Tyler
- cuddling while talking about future pets
- making out, fierce passion
- cooking kung pao chicken + jasmine rice for Tyler
- writing my novel at work between ordering parts and taking messages
- serious emails, opening my soul to James
- making "sexpresso", espresso with fresh whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon
- celebrating 9 months with Tyler!
- planting spinach, lettuce, carrots in the garden
- digging up an old rose bush stump, cool soil all over my hands, moving the earthworms to safety with the shovel
- planting a frangipani tree
- swimming laps in the pool to cool down
- going grocery shopping with Tyler, finding a strawberry salad mix
- alone at night, working to my writing playlists
- shopping for crafts + natural food + seeds with my mother
- sitting at the dining table with my mother, papers sprawled across the surface as she worked on scrapbooking and I worked on my story bible/sketching
- feeling unreal and weak, enjoying the strangeness and sleep deprivation
- "Do you think I'll fold?"
- waking up at 6:30, coffee + writing
- staying up until midnight talking to John, getting lost while taking him home, recommendations for herbal concoctions and vitamin b
- planting spearmint in tiny pots
- talking to Tyler on the phone about life and finances and happy times ahead, and his potential career switch
- giving myself a massive pep talk, motivation and loveliness
- driving home with my father in a white 560SL, watching it's reflections in the buildings in the downtown Cape
- listening to a cassette tape in my mother's car, surreality
- heating up dinner for Tyler, giving him too much cheese (just how he likes it), fresh-baked bread, and homemade apple crisp with fresh whipped cream
- crying in Tyler's arms (it always feels so good, and I'm so thankful that he allows me to do this as often as I do)
- waking up at 5:30, getting ready to go to work, sharing a comfortable silence with my father
- getting to the industrial park just before sunrise, battling a giant spider in order to open the back door
- "You're so adorable and kidnappable! I am gonna throw you in my trunk."
- "Can we just make that a hilarious story and pretend it wasn't nearly as awkward as it was when it happened?" "I'm cool with that."
- bourbon, star-gazing, and cuddling with my love.
- applying for jobs late at night via the internet, being contacted the next day, getting 2 interviews, holding my breath
- buying a big bag of ruby red grapefruit at Sun Harvest, then books and tea from Amazon to congratulate myself on my efforts
- going through an automatic car wash by myself before another interview
- compounding and waxing my car, paying careful attention to any scratches
- going to Tyler's at night, helping him with tests for his law class
- tearing apart ruby red grapefruit for breakfast
- making ciabatta, eating slices of it with Tyler's dad's creamy tarragon chicken
- buying all sorts of oddities on clearance, including the most incredible light lavendar soda
- making Korean ribs for my dad + Tyler, giving Tyler perfectly packaged lunches to take to work
- hitting 91k words in my novel, the end being in sight
- toasting a ciabatta bun for breakfast, 1/2 raspberry jam, 1/2 honey, sweet start
- being a particularly dutiful worker in the office, not taking lunch in order to keep people off of the mechanics' backs
- driving around with my sunroof open, enjoying (finally!) cooler weather + Fleet Foxes
- sharing a blueberry-acai tea with Tyler over dinner (heavily garlicked shrimp scampi served over linguine alfredo with garlic cheese biscuits on the side)
- buying a ridiculous amount of vegetables
- painting pumpkins at Tyler's dad's house (a scary one and a Pikachu for him)
- talking with Tyler about our crazy schedules, being awesome
- urging the few trick-or-treat-ers we got to take handfuls of candy
- finishing my rough draft!, celebrating with Crown Reserve
