week 010

• making white wheat bread w/ flax seeds for David at 2am
• eating healthier: salad w/ spinach, strawberry, fresh mozzarella, snacks of peanut butter granola + vanilla yogurt, carrots, black coffee
• going to AC Moore w/ my family to take advantage of their 50% off of all paintbrushes sale
• pulling out my knife and getting under the car in the parking lot to remove a towel wrapped around my mother's wheel (wtf?) Her & my sister exchanged glances and my mother said, "I'm not going to ask why you have a knife that big."
• rummaging around in my parents' garage, recovering an easel and oil paint set complete w/ turpentine
• preparing for NaNoWriMo, typing up notes, washing the coffee machine
• influx of snowbirds, work is busy + awesome
• going home, cleaning my office
• writing for NaNoWriMo for the first time in a year!
• Goo Goo Dolls concert, watching 6 wasted women getting kicked out. "Better Days", "Iris", "Broadway"
• saying "Good morning" to my co-workers and Levi
• getting a random $10 tip from a wealthy man
• Thom opening up to me about his past, making fun of Hooters' girls who'd ask him for rides on his Harley
• "you could always just be a homewrecker"
• "I'm happy about getting that car!" "Why!? It's a piece of shit!" "Well, there's 3 of us here and now we each have a car for the demolition derby!"
• kava + Starlight
• Chris holding up a hose and saying, "That looks like a dead snake" + responding immediately with "That's what she said."
• talking to Levi from across the fence
• meeting up with Jennifer + Lee, hopping in the car to go to Target for food + then Sanibel
• listening to Henry Rollins talk about his adventures in philanthropy in other countries, monks, and how he believes in the 99%
• waking up waaaay too late, laughing about it, playing with Ziggy
• going shopping for Ziggy at Petsmart, awesome rewards card
• dinner with David at Mel's, amazing pizza w/ goat cheese, roasted red peppers, and spinach
• Rocky Horror Picture Show w/ David + Jennifer, Frankfurter making me an honorary virgin (I've been to the show at least twice before) + sitting in my lap and holding on to me
• going over to Jennifer + Lee's to hang out, playing w/ their cat
