week 002

• headed to the beach, shot engagement photos for H+J
• found out I weigh about 105 again (yay!)
• played ball with Matt and Jake at the park, felt so alive being active + outside
• a coil in my trunk broke, Thom fixed it in about five minutes
• started listening to Katatonia's "In The White" on repeat - so beautiful
• shampooed the floor mats in my car + vacuumed, neighbor started talking to me and said I had an accent that he couldn't place (I've heard this more than once, wondering if it's a slight Brooklyn?)
• picked up Woodchuck fall cider, shared with my love + baked a pizza after he hooked up the oven
• met Thom's dogs when he brought them to the shop on Friday
• Matt and Jake again, drinking Heineken Light and reminiscing, playing Scattergories, telling jokes
• setting up Mario Kart + Yoshi's Island on the TV for D, drinking leftover Heineken, and teaching him how to play all the video games I played as a kid
• Lee & Jennifer picked me up, we went to their place and got drunk, invited Tyler over, drank whiskey while the guys had girly mint drinks
• smoking hookah with them, watching Tyler blow perfect smoke rings
• driving to Walmart w/ Jennifer, me drunk, her sober - listening to Muse's "Uprising". FUCK THE MAN!
• the city looking beautiful like it never does as we drive back to her place
