• amelia was the favorite child, the one who lived up to everything their mother wanted.
• long story short, amelia wasn't the one who got screamed at on a regular basis.
• vi at least perceives her as having been complacent to the abuse, and wants little to do with her.

• was trying to "make him stronger," but mostly she was just awful to him.
• they had a pretty one-sided romance in early middle school.
• (wip) may or may not have been involved in the incident that screwed up his legs.
  • either way, she actually felt really guilty about it, and tried to make amends- maybe less for his sake and more to soothe her own conscience.
  • she was nice to him to the point of insincerity, and she catered to his needs to the point of bordering on overbearing & smothering more than a few times.
• stopped talking to him almost completely after the accident. now she just wants to leave him alone.
  • especially after he told her she's been acting like her mother for years.

• picked on her through middle school.
• drove aradia into a depressive state after she hurt tavros & forced sollux to hurt her.
• aradia caused the accident that took vi's arm & left eye.
  • surprisingly, vi never implicated her in it.
  • she tries to avoid bringing all of it up in general.
• now she mostly avoids aradia.

• picked on him through middle school.
• (wip) forced him to do something to hurt aradia in sophomore year.
• she very pointedly avoids him now.

• at better times, she likes to think of him like her older brother too.
  • particularly since she's disowned her own older sister.
  • it's unclear whether rou returns or tries to fulfill these sentiments.

CIRINO (@) - met in college - new friend

• share an english class.
• vi helps cirino with essays and any other work she can lend a hand to.
• she listens to his rambling, almost always paying attention, and even watches the movies he talks about at length so she can have a discussion about them.
• they smoke together frequently.
• she likes him a lot, and desperately hopes he likes her and isn't just tolerating her being around.
  • she likes him a lot and hasn't even thought about him romantically and she feels that's improvement for her extra ass.
