Armand grew up in in the middle of a slightly modern area of Batam, Indonesia, with his parents and three younger sisters. Life at home wasn't always easy, so he focused on his studies to earn a scholarship in Jakarta. Years of effort paid off when he graduated high school and got his well deserved full scholarship at the faculty of engineering, Trisakti University from a great generous company. He partially stopped getting in touch with his parents and his sister always pays a visit to the dorm. It’s very nice to see her success on her own.

This marked a turning point in his life.

He had never expected to be a single father in a very young age, and at times it was so difficult he wondered how anyone could do it alone. There were so many things that needed to be done, so many decisions he had to make on his own. Sometimes the stress overwhelmed him, and he didn't think he could go on. But as he'd told himself time and again, he didn't have a choice. He was the only parent his son had, and no matter how tired, hungry, or sad Armand was, he had to keep going for his son's sake.

The boy's mother had been a disappointment, and her departure had been devastating for them both. They'd met in college and fallen in love. She'd been so beautiful, so fun and exciting, and they'd had a wonderful life. It seemed like a dream come true. Then they had the baby, and she became depressed. Armand had tried his best to help her, but she refused to accept his assistance, and their relationship fell apart.

Finally, she moved away. The boy was just 3 months old.

Armand may seem tough on the outside, but he's really gentle, especially with his little one, Loren. He's a loving father who does whatever it takes to make his son happy. Whether they're building Lego towers or reading bedtime stories, Armand's love for Loren knew no bounds.

Despite managing his auto repair shop and being a dad, Armand's dedication to perfection makes him the best in his field. Even with the noise of machines, it's Loren's laughter that warms his heart.

One evening, as they sat on the balcony of their apartment, watching the city lights twinkle below, Loren tugged at Armand's sleeve. "Daddy, will you fix my toy car tomorrow?" he asked, eyes wide with anticipation.

Armand smiled, ruffling his son's hair.

In that moment, Armand realized that everything he needed was right there in his arms, no matter what challenges life brought his way.
