- People don't know how to walk/function in general
- The floors in Maureen's Kitchen are now a light wood
- My mom's car makes a strange whirring sound
- The street signs by Hauppauge High School are blue
- Hand sanitizer is distributed everywhere
- There seems to be some strange trend regarding motion-sensored bathroom utilities
- People really do have terrible accents
- Lots of people get hit by cars
- The Lucania's front-yard-pagoda-like-structure-thing was ugly; now that all of the plants died it's even uglier
- My street is strangely narrow
- No matter where you are, you can always spot a Mustang somewhere within your vicinity
- People are BORED and depressing
- People get hung up on new restaurants appearing, they forget that they most likely will not be good.
- The news matters too much
- I have never heard the term "they say..." more in my life
- Everyone is discombobulated
- Hipsters are literally non-existent
- People gasp when you order black coffee, I'm not kidding
- Brand loyalty, but limited to about 3 stores.
- The stores in the center of Smithaven Mall are all renamed but sell the exact same things
- Shadows exist! and they are gorgeous!
