Track 01: Liar Liar
There's so many layers in this song. I really love it. It does sound like a travelling song, so I kinda get why there's an element of exploration in the illustration for this track. The hazy sound in the background might account for the whales? Like they're flying whales, and it's a song about reality and dreams and imagination.
It reminds me of Cupid because of the drums in the background, but less obvious. The rap in Cupid wasn't as well integrated as in this song. I feel like the lead-in was better, anyway. That, or I expected it here?
I don't have a personal story related to this song, so next!

w/o translation:
This song is so chill... If I connect it to the illustration, it's like space because of the lower vocals and sound in this song.
At :30, I got chills, that lower part surprised me. The song goes back and forth between lighter and darker vocals.
This song also has the call and answer part starting at 2:55 that reminds me of when I used to play the piano and that would be part of pieces.

Track 03: I Found Love
w/o translation:
The bass part that starts about 9 seconds in the song made me think I'd accidentally autoplayed a song.
I have no idea how to connect this to the illustration, it's likely to be related to the lyrics.
Unsurprisingly, my favourite parts are the "I Found Love" parts (the slower ones and the shout parts)
About 27 seconds into the song, the song really starts picking up.
Is there more Binnie in these songs or am I imagining things...
I didn't even notice there was a short Mimi rap part the first time.
2:28 has a cool back and forth sound, which is probably Seunghee. I might be wrong, ha ha.
The ending is really nice, though I can't place exactly what it reminds me of.

Track 04: Knock Knock
w/o translation: The rap is really early in this song, and there's a lot of English.
I just started listening and this is already my favourite song. Every song I thought it couldn't be topped by the next song, but I love all the songs.
OK, so connecting it to the illustration, it's kind of like... a girls' night vibe. And the illustration is really detailed, and the song gives me the same feeling, like there's a lot of different parts which are synergistic.
Personal thought I had was that I don't like hanging out with people that much... actually when I do it the reason is that it's important to lay down the foundation so that if I need help in the future it won't be weird. It's a strange duality because sometimes I talk with people because I want to, but sometimes it's because I might need something from them later and I need to prep for that.
I'm torn as to whether I like using people like that (in some kind of power trip) or if it's a survival mechanism. Or if I'm a bad person for finding enjoyment in manipulating the system so I can be lazy.

So this song is from the perspective of an obsessive friend, I see... it's kinda scarier than I thought. I'm amused by this more than anything though.
Track 05: Step by Step
Step 1: Initial Thoughts, without translation
This illustration is in watercolour, this actually fits the song because it sounds really soft and airy.
It gives me the impression of freshness, greenness, springtime. It makes me think of new beginnings, that every morning is a new day, that I'm still alive, somehow.
I feel my soul has died little my little over the last few years... I feel tired. I thought that, in time, I'd be a lot less emotionally unstable. I'm a bit more resilient now; I panic slightly later than I used to.
That's what this song reminds me of. That time passes, and I change slowly and imperceptibly. That even though I'm technically an adult, I'm still growing and changing a bit all the time... something like that.
Now for an unrelated thought:
It's better than In the Same Place. Maybe because Oh My Girl sang it? Or the production is better?
