- das weisse band (best film of 2009 which i saw in 2010) x 2
- avatar in 3d (my eyeballs nearly fell out)
- the duchess (i'm a sucker for period pieces, but this one was kind of dull and all one could focus on was keira knightley's goddamn platypus lips)
- the lodger: a story of the london fog (i'm a huge, huge, huge hitchcock fan and this one was a very good starting point for my see-more-silent-film-project)
- in the loop (the third time round)
- mansfield park (WHY did i watch this one?)
- a cup of love (_WHY_ did i watch this one?!)
- being john malkovich (one of my all-time favourites)
- up in the air (what was all the fuss about? it's not even that great)
- annie hall (a delight in 35 mm, laughed so hard and noticed lots of things i hadn't seen before. like paul simon.)
- where the wild things are (basicly a kiddy flick for grown-ups. i loved it. smiled through the entire thing)
- manhattan (another woody allen-treat in 35mm)
- ghostbusters (pretty much the most absurd film of american pop culture of the 80s)
- IT (wonderful silent film with clara bow. saw 'IT' at the local film club accompanied by live piano music)
- thirst (ugh blood and sucking sounds)
- brokeback mountain (i'm writing an extended essay on how a straight and a gay director interpret homosexuality in film)
- far from heaven (this one was the better one, i love julianne moore and todd haynes)
- fantastic mr. fox (very charming, although not amazing)
- le genou de claire (part of a eric rohmer hommage at the local cinematheque. a beautiful work indeed)
- repo man (estevez-o-rama)
- crash (for english lit. and culture class)
- a single man (for the second time round. can't help but love it)
- heathers (classic!)
- daybreakers (life's a bitch and then you don't die. please do me a favour and stay away from this movie. ethan hawke noooo.)
