being the only heir of two of the wealthiest families in asia, expectations were crazy high for jacqueline young. when she was younger, she blindly bent to each of her parents' wishes; from what was appropriate to wear to school to her choice in boyfriends to her college major, because that is how a good asian daughter acts like, right?

thankfully she was able to put some distance between her and her family when she got accepted to the new york university, and she's never felt freer since. her parents were originally against having their only daughter so far away in a different country (and america, at that!) but eventually relented as it was a prestigious university after all. little did they know that that would be the first of jacqueline's rebellions.

while abroad, she fell in love with street racing after a friend of hers dragged her to a race. she fell in love with the sound of tires skidding against the asphalt, the smell of rubber in the air, she loved how it got her adrenaline pumping. plus it paid good money, too. over the years, she built a reputation for herself in the underground scene as jackie, famous for winning nearly every race except one (though that's still a touchy subject).

of course, she still appears as the perfect daughter to her parents back in korea, but in reality she's a top student with a (smart) college dropout for a boyfriend and a street racing career under her belt. and that's just the way she likes it.
