In no order, mostly from books because it's harder to remember who I've swooned over in films.
- Charles Darnay (A Tale of Two Cities)
- Handsome and noble as shit! Also French.
- Sodapop Curtis (The Outsiders)
- Charming greaser boy, also I was in seventh grade.
- Zooey Glass (Franny and Zooey)
- Misanthropic, beautiful, fit for Hollywood but not there, brilliant, sarcastic, disrespectful, likes baths.
- Homer Hickam (October Sky)
- Jake Gyllenhaal in the film version is adorable, or at least he was when I was a sophomore.
- Robbie Turner (Atonement)
- Smart, and humble, and perfect, resourceful, and sort of dirty in his head, and also sweet with kids.
- Luc (Atonement)
- "He was a lovely boy far away from his family and about to die."
- Hamlet (The Tragedy of Hamlet)
- Robert Jordan (For Whom the Bell Tolls)
- Pensive, intelligent, worldly, determined, stubborn but submissive, dynamic, delicate at heart, capable of companionship, "little rabbit" is the best pet name.
- Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)
- I mean, this is practically just for propriety.
- Narrator (The Broken Wings)
- Me in male form. Also this is just absolutely one of the most beautiful things ever written.
- Achilles (The Iliad)
- I don't see how he could possibly not be hot as shit.
- Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)
- Hate but love him forever. Mostly I would just want to be his girlfriend like everyone else.
- Arthur (Inception)
- Flawless. And also this goes without saying.
- Aladdin (Disney's Aladdin)
- Many issues with this film, but he was my crush as a young film connoisseur. I preferred him as a street rat.
- Dimitri (Disney's Anastasia)
- Caring and charming and p-e-r-f. I love Disney boys.
