- that they are loved, always, no matter what
- that when they're feeling sad or tired or confused, they can always come home
- that it's okay to be still or quiet, they don't always have to be doing or saying something
- that there's always something to learn from every person, every place, every experience
- that there's a God and he is merciful and his love is wonderful and steadfast
- that their actions have consequences and they are free to do whatever they want if they understand and can live with the consequences
- that kindness is not optional and when most things no longer count, kindness will
- that everything they will have is a gift, undeserved so they should always be grateful
- that i wish they'd love books and music and food and all the simple little things this world can offer and that they only take from them the right feels and the good vibes and nothing more
- that there will be days when their hearts will tire and break but that okay, it doesn't mean they should stop trusting and hoping and trying to make things perfect
- that they can be happiest if they will stop focusing too much on themselves
- that they have to learn to choose their battles and not waste their energy and time on useless people and things
