- I am proud of the 'most improved student' award which I got in nursery.
- Every time I got bored, I listened to my cassette tapes of nursery rhymes.

- My favorite movies were Aladdin, Honey I Blew The Kid, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, Air Force One, Mary Poppins, Little Rascals, Batang X, Cedie, and Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa. =) (strange mix of genres?)
- My favorite TV shows were Batibot, Sarah ang Munting Prinsesa, Cedie, Hiraya Manawari, and Bayani.
- My first declamation piece was 'Vengeance is Not Ours, it's God's'. I recited this when I was 10. Had to pretend I was blind the whole time.
- When I had a difficult time understanding long division, I realized that numbers and I will never get along.
- But I memorized the multiplication table in a snap!
- I learned that the only key to get into the honor roll was to read in advance.
- I was one of the nerds so I got bullied most of the time.
- My aunt made me a huge red tomato costume for Nutrition Week, but the program got canceled. I felt relieved that I didn't need to put it on, but I was also sad because I didn't want to put my aunt's efforts into waste.
- I was afraid of our dog, Cookie. When he chased me once, I ran from our house to the end of our street.
- When I was 9, I went swimming with my classmates without my parents' permission. They got really really worried, and of course, they got really really mad.
- I got perfect scores in my science quizzes so I thought I could become a doctor.
- I loved playing with my imaginary friends!
- When I was 8, I was introduced to the wonderful world of Sweet Valley and Nancy Drew.
