Wow this random suggestion pops up the day I come back from a trip. I'll talk about my trip through the UP and parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin

Amazing

• we were accidentally leaf peepers and the trees were gorgeous
  
  • the lake was gorgeous too, except 30 degrees out and freaking wild wind gusts
    
  • I only hated the snow a little
    
• i had the freshest grilled chicken sandwich ever
• my niece's wedding was great, everyone was jammin'
• duluth had a lot of cute shops, we were on this tiny island and I had a bite of a smoked salmon bagel
• grand marais has a neat bar and 50% of the people eating there were family
• speaking of family my second cousins(?) were really nice and didn't ask any invasive questions
  • dad tells some amazing stories with them
  • he also apparently fished in every river in the calumet area as a kid
• I found a copy of TWEWY and it was really fun
  • I started playing tsumtsum again and it worked even in roam and I got both Sora and Halloween Sora
  • I got new gloves that are also mittens at the same place I got TWEWY and they're amazing

Misery

• sitting in the car for hours on end
  • pooping away from home
• batteries dying in my electric devices
  • my headphones need to be repaired too :(
• dad's radio is too loud, so I blast my headphones, but then my ears ring for the rest of the day
  • dad's taste in music
  • dad's taste in radio programs
• sudden need to use the restroom when there's 30 miles between each stop
• why does all American food have cheese
  • fun fact, it's a dairy conspiracy
• cabin had wifi but it didn't work :(
• bbq duck wings are "sweet with no spice at all"
  • they in-fact had red pepper in the sauce even though I was told they didn't, and so my mouth burned to high heaven for an hour since I have a food allergy to red bell peppers
