- Kate and Leopold (rewatch; kind of a mess but soothing)
- Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (another movie that is certainly a movie!)
- Scents and Sensibility (exactly as expected)
- Cinderella (sweet, and slick in a good way)
- When Calls the Heart (tv movie... not all the way terrible, at least)
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens (pretty good)
February:
- Separate Tables (a strange, interesting movie)
- The Bucket List (yep, surprisingly decent)
- Until They Sail (Jean Simmons and Paul Newman, unf; overall a weird but decent movie with a gorgeous cast and yay sisters)
- The Lady from Shanghai (interesting)
- Spy (rewatch; the good outweighing the bad last time was tilted slightly less toward good on a rewatch, but still more good than bad)
March:
- Grease Live (mediocre but kinda fun)
- Gilda (not a good movie, but holy shit Rita Hayworth)
- How to Be Single (in theaters; as expected, a total mess but I somewhat enjoyed it, and it was surprisingly pretty)
- Zootopia (in theaters; a very good time)
- You'll Never Get Rich (mostly eh, but man, Rita Hayworth, and some good dancing)
- The Grass Is Greener (I really enjoyed this weird and awesome movie)
April:
- The Heat (rewatch; still pretty great in parts)
- The Age of Adaline (decent, and pretty)
- A Letter to Three Wives (a strange movie)
- Spotlight (in theaters; very, very good)
- The Innocents (WHAT)
- What If (decent)
June:
- The Avengers: Age of Ultron (rewatch; all right)
- Captain America: Civil War (in theaters; slightly better than expected)
- Crimson Peak (all right)
- Love & Friendship (sometimes very funny, mostly kind of blah, if successful in what it intends to do)
- Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (rewatch with Top; just as good or better than the first time)
July:
- Trainwreck (all right)
- Fantastic Four (quite bad)
- After the Ball (cheesy fluff with surprisingly fun hijinks and decent romance)
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens (rewatch; still decent--just skipped as much of the villain parts as possible)
- Cinderella (1997 TV movie) (small and colorful and delightful)
- Zootopia (rewatch in theaters with Jess and Soph--Soph's first movie in theaters! Soph barely barely held it together but the movie was fun again)
- Jurassic World (rewatch; bad stuff as bad, still some good parts to enjoy)
August:
- Edge of Tomorrow (I very much enjoyed this movie)
- Ex Machina (eh)
- Ghostbusters (2016; in theaters; SO FUN AND ALL-AROUND PLEASING)
- Ghostbusters (rewatch in theaters; still not ~quality~, still so GOOD)
September:
- Jem and the Holograms (sadly not a good movie, but had enough that I didn't feel it was a total waste of time)
- Bridge of Spies (decent)
October:
- Room (good)
- Absolutely Fabulous (in theaters with old people and Jess; as expected)
- Deadpool (all right)
- Haha to Kuraseba (beautiful and moving)
- Tangled (rewatch; decent)
November:
- The Makeover (watchable)
- Think Like a Man (exactly as expected both in bad ways and good ways)
- Me Before You (as expected but a little better than I thought)
- About Last Night (ridiculous in some ways and fun in others, with a seriously appealing main cast)
- Equals (not great)
December:
- Victor/Victoria (yes)
- A Christmas Melody (extremely hard to look at directly)
- Thoroughly Modern Millie (man, what a fucked-up movie, but man, Julie Andrews is lovely)
- Finding Dory (all right)
- Center Stage: On Pointe (fun!)
- Hidamari no Kanojo (beautiful and enjoyable)
- Another Thin Man (rewatch; otp otp)
