Red Vox is my favourite band! In fact, I'm their top listener of all time. I like all of their music (if something isn't on here, I promise I am not even CLOSE to disliking it LOL) but here is a list of my absolute top picks from each album! Also... I'm really not a music person, so I don't know how to describe or pick out a lot of sounds. Sorry if my opinions on things are really surface-level or second-hand embarrassing.

What Could Go Wrong (2016)

• Atom Bomb ♡ | What a classic!!! There's just something about this chorus and the gritty sound that's all over this album in general...
• Back to School ♡ | I loved this one when I was in high school, heehee.
• Telephone ♥ | This is definitely my favourite on the album!!! It's just so good!!! Fuck!!!!!!!! I love when the slammin' instrumental transitions into something smoother...
• Job in the City ♡ | I've always loved this one, but after playing The New Flesh... (shiver)...
• Ghost Page | :C
• In a Dream ♥ | SUCH A GOOD SONG!!! The main melody is so nice on the ears... and. Oh my god. The Another Light teaser at the end... SQUEEEEEE

Blood Bagel (2016)

• Vomit in the Ball Pit ♥ | This album is where my Gross Boy-ness slips out, because I really love how dumb and shocking it is, especially this song. That sillyriffic tune that repeats in the instrumental is so fun though! I really really really like this song.
• Roid Rage ♥ | You've got a burnt blood bagel with a Prep-H spread!
• Tired of Love | "Sometimes I get so tired that I just have to take a nap" True Lyrical Mastery.
• Fuck ♡ | Never once have I listened to this and not burst out laughing at the first line.
• Between the Cheeks | When I was younger I had a bit where I'd tell people there was a random woman on this track to make a song about anal sex less potentially gay.

Another Light (2017)

• Another Light ♥ | This is my favourite album EVER, and fittingly, the opening song is so close to my heart. I love love love the guitar in this and I see my own optimism reflected in the lyrics. I think I WILL see it in another light, thank you.
• Settle for Less ♥ | This song and Another Light are the two that I associate most with the album art, but in opposite ways. While both are about chasing that light, this one is doomed to hit the ground before reaching the moon. Some of these lyrics are really crushing, man. Also it sounds really good.
• Memories Lie ♡ | The quote in my bio on here is from this one!
• I'm So Happy ♥ | This one's special because it's the first Red Vox song I'd ever heard! It'll always be dear to me.
• Memento Mori ♥ | It's just so beautiful... ough... so many songs on this album are so relatable to me. If not ALL of them. The sound fits the lyrics so well, it makes me feel like I'm slowly floating through time...
• From the Stars ♡ | The rawness of his voice at the end!! Holy smokes!!!
• Rub Your Eyes ♡ | This song just sounds so resigned, and I really love it for that. The repeated "I don't know" really sells that for me.
• In the Garden ♥ | Oh my god. There is a very good reason this is their most popular song. I actually started sniffling and crying like a baby when I stumbled into the garden in The New Flesh.

Stranded (2018)

• Stranded ♥ | Oh my god.

Kerosene (2019)

• Define Me | I like the shakers. This is a really nice-sounding song, and I like the contrast of the flat, stagnant, sad verses with the hopeful chorus.
• Never Gonna Win ♡ | The slow drums and the echoing notes are really really nice on the ears... very serene...
• Leave Me Alone ♡ | This one's just personally relatable to me. I like how bare it is too.
• Cemetery Window | I really like this instrumental... the slowness of these songs is just really nice.

Realign (2020)

• Realign ♥ | This is just a really really fucking good song. Total ear-candy. It's also gotten me through a lot of situations and feelings that the lyrics reflect, even if some of the lyrics aren't actually all that optimistic? "All I'm leaving is a past behind" is a bit sad and trivializing, but when there's nothing else you can do, it's kind of comforting to know it's not all there is, right? "All I need is what I'm yet to find"...

Lost For a While (2020)

• Rather Be Lonely | I feel better alone with a strangerrrr than I ever did with a friendddd...
• Stay In Bed ♥ | The happy sound of the instrumental and the silly wording used to describe stagnation and depression reminds me a lot of my own presentation of it. It's very comforting in that way.
