- on - para fazer referência principalmente a datas e dias específicos e a superfícies de locais.
- ex.: on october 6th, on mondays, the book is on the shelf.
- obs.: com alguns meios eletrônicos também se usa in, por exemplo: on the phone, on the Internet; e com alguns meios de transporte públicos, por exemplo, on the bus, on the plane e on the subway.
- at - expressões que indicam horários, momentos e locais específicos.
- ex.: the meeting will begin at 10 am; my brother is at home; at easter.
