Things my mother and grandmother taught me...and a few things I've learned along the way...
- NEVER, EVER live to work; ALWAYS work to live.
- DON'T WASTE THE PRETTY...EVER. (Thanks to Greg from He's Just Not That Into You for that one!)
- Hold your head up high and don't be afraid of anyone or be embarrassed about anything...that said PICK YOUR BATTLES...WISELY!
- If frustrated, 1. take a step back 2. take a breath 3. take a break 4. re-focus 5. start again.
- I'm a fighter.
- It's not what you know, but who you know - so don't burn any bridges.
- It's only money.
- Keep the door - and your eyes and ears - OPEN!
- Keep you standards high and your fashion choices higher.
- Know what you want...and then act on it.
- Money is meant to be spent - just not foolishly.
- Never leave the house without make-up because you never know who'll you'll meet - a little mascara and lipstick can go a loooong way!
- No one has ever gotten anywhere by fitting in! (It's ok...you never fit in anyways lol!)
- THINK FOR YOURSELF (Go Georgie!)!!!
- Turn your tongue 7 times before you say ANYTHING (<3 NONA)!
- You don't have to like everyone you meet - just respect them.
- You get by with a little help from your friends (Thanks, FabFour!!)
MOST IMPORTANTLY (and especially for multiple choice answers) STICK TO YOUR GUT!!!!! (You KNOW it's always right - so don't bother fighting it!!)
