saving money

• If I see something I like (for ex: a t-shirt) for $30. I ask myself: If someone offered me the shirt for free, or $30 cash, which one would I choose. I almost always choose the money.
• If I ever want to splurge on something, I'll calculate how long it takes for me to work to earn that amount and that usually deters me.
