- Giving a little talk about queer politics in "Six Feet Under" at university
- ROSE BAKERY'S LEMON CAKE (!!!)
- Solving CRUX-crossword puzzles with my boyfriend. My father loved to do these and I inherited 3 of his CRUX-books. It's a bit sad to see his handwriting, and to think about how smart he was... he was able to solve one of these in like half an hour. We need much longer, sometimes we even have to look something up or let it sink in for one night to look at it again in the morning with fresh ideas. It's fun though. You really need to think outside the box and feel incredibly smart if you get something right.
- ARAN's peppermint iced tea with passion fruit juice.
- Hot Brownie with ice cream.
- Planning our little road trip to Austria/Hungary and making mixtapes.
- George Carlin talking about "Stuff" on YouTube. He's pretty funny, I gotta check out more of this shows.
- Austria. VIENNA (so much to love). Hungary. Frequency. Boating, amazing food, great museums, meeting Christina (<3), getting to know Lucie from London and spending a lovely evening in Révfülöp, singing and dancing while driving, the chocolate factory in Riegersburg, seeing many great concerts (Foo Fighters!), spending time with Lena, sleeping in a tent (sometimes; but THANK YOU, yoga mat, and thanks little neck pillow! #oldladyproblems), swimming, getting a nice suntan
- Moroccan Oil
- Organising our trip to France (woo hoooooo!)
- Leaving Church for good (I was never asked whether I wanted to join, right?! And now they charge 31€ for leaving...). But finally. Yes. It feels so nice.
- Trying to eat more raw vegan food
- Still mineral water. I feel a bit weird for buying it in bottles instead of just getting it straight from the tap, but the thing is: if I don't have water bottles I don't drink enough. I used to drink sparkling water and the switch to still water was big enough, so I guess bottled water is fine for now; at least until I get really used to it. Is it pure imagination if I feel like I can actually taste a difference?
- Aldi's Ceasar Salad
- baking sourdough bread and banana bread
- John Green: "An Abundance of Katherines"
- buying great fake Swedish Hasbeens for only 10€
- Dawn French as Catherine Zeta-Jones #ladida
- chickpeas with carrots, halloumi, parsley, tofu, curry and yoghurt
- receiving many compliments for my new earrings from Vienna
- my neighbour who waters my tomato plants when I'm gone
- scoring two ridiculous pairs of sunglasses (1€ each) so I will never run out of sunnies in the car again (somehow they keep disappearing!)
- well, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTnM4jd-P1Y
- swimming with my friends and talking about forming a synchronised swimming team (we even picked matching bathing caps)
- Harry Potter audiobooks. I discovered the Stephen Fry version now, it's excellent, even though I love the Rufus Beck one as well.
- speedy photo developing
- grooming our chubby cat
- I CAN'T BELIEVE AUGUST IS OVER ALREADY, OMFG.
