  • "In terms of love, with Venus retrograde in highly compatible Capricorn, you may be thinking of having reconciliation with a former love. That's a good idea. Any time you see the word "retrograde" it means to "go back" to a former situation, so if you are serious about mending the relationship with your past love, by all means, make contact." (Susan Miller, January 2014) - a very good idea. Wish he would see it that way.
  • An unhealthy obsession with Ben&Jerry's Half Baked .
  • Lying in the bath tub for one or two hours and watching About Time , drinking strawberry milk shake.
  • Frank, who kisses like a real bad boy.
  • Videotaping the inside of my fridge ("Is the light out? Is it?")
  • Spending a morning in bed, finishing my first book of the year.
  • Yet another fabulous home.
  • Going to Passau, talking to Mr D, spending some time with Bert.
  • Receiving Bert's old smart phone. Now I play Quizduell all the time and spam people on Whatsapp.
  • 7p10e - two people talking on Skype for one month, eventually falling in love.
  • Watching some pretty good movies with Frank (for example "Wolf of Wall Street" - I had so much fun!), holding hands in the cinema (pretty gay but hey, why not), a day in bed, Spaghetti Carbonara.
  • Soft and sour Lachgummi candy.
  • Getting along really well with my supervisor.
  • Anna's tiny cakes which she brought on her birthday.
  • I had to work so much for my teaching exam and of course everything was so last minute that I almost got a nervous breakdown and Frank was SO helpful. He watched me create all the pictures for hours, set deadlines and cheered on me. I owe him, big time.
  • A funny case of ASMR while hearing the sound of crackling paper.
  • Sending challenges to Frank to spice up his day at the office.
  • Receiving perfect grades for my teaching exam!! Surreal. I thought it went really badly but apparently my reaction to all the fails was very good.
  • On the same day, Elsa took me back to Munich. Frank was waiting for me at the station, we kissed on the sofa, went to an amazing Turkish supermarket (jelly bananas, strawberries, all kinds of special vegetables, center shock, eggplant dolmades) and made pizza. Then we kissed on the windowsill. Then we had wine and kissed some more. He taught me how to play the saxophone. Perfect evening. In the morning I had to leave superearly and left a message for him at the kitchen table. And I even got a drowsy goodbye kiss!
  • The aftermath of the teaching exam and finally being able to support my colleagues (emotionally but also folding, cutting, stuff like that).
  • My supervisor, who is a majorly adorable person. She sent us support e-mails and gave us chocolate all the time during our preparation phase. I should really start hugging her more.
  • Cherryoca gummy bears (coke and cherry).
  • A night out with Steffi, Lisa and Franzi. Really bad music. But some guy brought us a bottle of booze! The woman who owns that bar is amazing: easy-going, three kids at home, gorgeous...
  • Talking to Thomas, another teacher at my school. He wants to take me to his archery class!
  • Live music... I'm in the mood to start playing an instrument or sing in a choir again.
  • A good talk with one of my favourite students.
  • Meeting all the others for the first time since Christmas.
