  • Spending New Year's Eve with the same people since high school. Which actually sucks but we cared so little about that day this year that we simply got drunk, played with Legos and welcomed 2015 with goat screams. Jup. Batshit crazy. But awesome. And we didn't even go outside to watch the fucking fireworks.
  • I'm excited about the movies Obvious Child and Appropriate Behaviour
  • I want to take a photo of myself throwing glitter up in the air like this
  • Truffle ravioli with dried tomatoes
  • Jen Dziura and her Bullish column
  • Watching all Selfie episodes in one sitting
  • Treaclemoon's One Ginger Morning - which actually smells like Coke Lemon
  • I just noticed that there's something yellow in every photo I took so far this year. Cheery! Anyway, colours: Indian yellow, mustard, canary and deep purple. My current spirit colours! Pretty weird in combination though since they are complementary colours and on the opposite ends of the chromatic circle.
  • Susan Miller's Glamourscopes - here is mine + extended version
  • Walking on frozen snow. Being surprised by a little deer herd on my way up a mountain, walking towards the woods. Long, solitary walks. Exploring the area I (used to?) dislike so much.
  • Estée from EssieButton / EssieButtonVlogs
  • Lying in bed, watching the full moon rise behind the clouds.
  • Swimming. Swimming!! What a ruminant task. I really wanna go more often... watching all those weird people, the strange smell, the massage nozzles. Also: I like observing my thoughts and how you think, woah, I can never do this for thirty minutes and then you're like, OK, it's not that hard, let's keep going for a while. And in the end you did it for an hour and didn't even notice. Come to think of it - what a great metaphor for my impatient all-or-nothing approach I have for most things in life.
  • An obituary for talking on the phone. And Carrie Bradshaw being fabulous. (Is it time for a SatC rewatch btw?)
  • It's almost pathetic how much wearing eyeliner improves my self-image.
  • The perfect phone background picture: purple glitter. Obviously.
  • Matcha latte with oat milk.
  • In Praise of Limits
  • Fresh pineapple. Mango. Raspberries. Raw cashews and hazelnuts. Organic whole-fat yoghurt. Ah, breakfast!
  • Meeting Martin from Vienna who moved to Munich this week. Yay, new drinking partner (who can provide a couch close by as well). Unfortunately the food-market was sold out before we arrived there...
  • Doing things for myself again. I made the decision to go on a Frank-break. We're not going to hear from each other for a few weeks /months until some time in late spring. Boy does this do me good. It's neither nice nor easy and actually rather sad that this is necessary but yeah. It really IS necessary. I feel so relieved. I like spending time on my own again. I feel less alone. I'm kinda proud of myself for taking this step.
  • Dark chocolate soy pudding with fresh raspberries.
  • Zombies vs. Plants (phone app)
  • A good talk with the headmaster at Kunstwerkstatt Munich. I might start working/studying there in fall.
  • Lebanese mezze. 1.000.000kcal but worth it.
  • Sugarfree fruit drops.
  • And now LEE PACE is on The Mindy Project! Perfect guest stars, srsly. Oh, and Girls is back with a new season. Good times.
  • I'm so excited about the Louise Bourgeois exhibition at Haus der Kunst in February.
  • A good NY Times article: To Fall in Love with Anyone, Do This
  • Alnatura granola bars with dates and maple syrup. I did certainly not expect them to be that good.
  • These burnt nutspreads looks SO delicious. Might need to order every single one of them.
  • The word liebäugeln
  • Stepanini's instagram
  • Posting on instagram myself
  • Random: pictures of jellyfish
  • Bilderbuch. Dying to get tickets for one of their concerts. Actually planning on going with Simon and Josh. Hope it works out (but option A is sold out and option B is right before a big exam, so... meh)
  • DAAAAAAW (snoring hummingbird)
  • My new underwater MP3 player from Sony. It's SO cool to swim your laps while listening to some really upbeat music. Or Björk. Depends.
  • Tartufo al pistacchio
  • Finding out that my therapist really likes me and actually schedules our appointments on days he'd otherwise loathe (= unresponsive patients). Well, I like him too. Daddy issues, I suppose.
  • Spring blossoms (my crocuses started opening their buds already!)
  • The TV series Hindsight - all that 90s music is making me so happy.
  • Finishing my first book since the summer holiday.
  • Speaking of holidays: the prospect of going away in February (Martin) and at the end of March (Lexi).
